    Thumbs down correction of sentences

Please read the sentence below and get it clear.

1)''A word which is used before a noun,a noun phrase or a pronoun, connecting it to another word is called preposition''

If i rewrite the sentence below do the sentence carry the same meanings like above?

2)''A word which is used before a noun,a noun phrase or a pronoun, which connect it to another word is called preposition.''

If it is right then (connecting/which connect) modifies the noun phrase ''a word'' and here does 'it' refer to 'a pronoun'?

Please see my amendments above. Always put a space after a comma or a full stop.

The sentence you constructed had some errors, which I have corrected below in red:

    2) ''A word which is used before a noun, a noun phrase or a pronoun, which connects it to another word, is called a preposition.''
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
