Swang | Define Swang at Dictionary.com

Well, the dictionary notes that "swung" is the past tense, but also that "swang" is used in some dialects.

I'm sure I have said "swang" at times, but would only write "swung" in any formal writing.

Hello. I don't know exactly, but I think, that "swung" sounds in middle part of GB, but "swang" sounds in North part of GB. I think every language has a words like this.
But you must write "swung", if you write "swang" I think, that your teacher or englishman will think , that you're illiterate.

I'm from the north of England and swang is not used here.

But you should write "swung". If you write "swang" I think that your teacher or BE speakers will think that you're illiterate.
