    Default plastic bag+verb

    Hi, what verb should be used if we want to say that not make a plasstic bag heavey because it would be tearing/breaking???

    "Don't make the plastic bag too heavy or it will tear/rip/split".

    Note the spelling and you don't need three question marks.

    I would have thought a heavier plastic bag would be less likely to tear, but not as good for the environment.

    Do you mean that you want to tell someone not to put too many things in the bag in case it splits? Or are you talking about the actual manufacturing process of the plastic bag?
