    Regular attendees do start to shorten it to "I've got to go to cardiology again tomorrow" or "I have to be at oncology for 9am". Occasional patients are more likely to say "I've got to go to the cardiology department tomorrow" or "I have to be at the oncology clinic for 9am".
    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

    I can see that shortening, but not when the word "department" is there. Which I think we all agree on.
