Default life is sweet/dear to everyone

    Hi teachers,

Life is sweet/dear to everyone. Which one is correct or more natural?

    Many thanks.

I think the meanings are different. "Sweet" means pleasant or enjoyable while "dear" means valuable or precious.

Both variations are grammatical but neither one is natural, in my opinion.

Whichever word you choose will give a grammatically correct sentence but clearly an untrue one.
