    class size reduction

    If you see any mistakes in the following sentence, can I have your comments? Thanks in advance.

    When it comes to improving student learning, both educators and policy makers seem to have the same opinion that small class size is the answer. This has led almost half of the states as well as federal government in the U.S to spend billions of dollars to reduce pupil-to-teacher ratios. Even in Japan where students in secondary school have better academic achievement than its counterparts in the developed countries, smaller class size has become a major issue.
