Hi,

Is the following analysis of the word 'adultery' correct?

{adult} + {-ery}

Well, maybe the word cannot be divided, a free morpheme.

I don't think so. The root of adultery is the Latin noun adulterium. Adultery has nothing to do with the English word adult, which comes from the Latin adultus. Therefore I think adultery cannot be broken down and is itself a morpheme.
