    Question lack thereof??

    Hi there,

Could anybody please explain what "lack thereof" means?

I've seen that phrase a couple of times, but still can't figure out what it means...

e.g. The company's success, or the lack thereof , depends on the quality of its product.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot~

    Hi Ryan,
here is how it makes up to me

Whether the company has a success or not depends on the quality of its product.

It means 'lack of what has been mentioned', in this case success.
