Default Using CAPS in a letter

Hello I am writing somewhat angry letter to a person that I don't know very well(I have my reasons). I would like to ask is it considered rude to use caps or not? Thank you in advance.

Yes, it's the equivalent of shouting.
    I am not a teacher.

You won't make your point if you write in all capital letters. It will look either amateurish or childish. Neither will show you to be a justifiably angry adult.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

It might be OK to put the occasional word in capitals in order to thoroughly get your anger across. For example, "I want you to know that I am VERY upset about what you did on Sunday".
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
