I understand the relationship between phototherapy and neonatal jaundice. But I don't know what the first part of your sentence is trying to say.
Does the "more" refer to time, number of lamps, intensity, or something else?

Well, it doesn't really matter if the sentence is grammatical unless it also make sense.

If it is the number of lamps, then: The more phototherapy lamps that are used, the faster serum bilirubin decreases.

Your use of "the more...the faster" is correct.

You're welcome, but you don't need to make a new post just to say 'thank you'. A click of the Like button is fine.

Note the correct spelling of 'grammar' and that a better title would have been 'The more...the faster'.

    Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'
