Default Not only ... but also ...

    Hello everybody!

I have some difficulty understanding the "not only ..but also.." rules and was wondering which one of the following sentences is correct and why?

    A) Not only video games not improve your memory but also they decrease it.
    B) Not only do video games not improve your memory but also they decrease it.
    C) Not only video games do not improve your memory but also they decrease it.
    D) Video games not only do not improve your memory but also they decrease it.

    Thanks in advance dear friends!

    B) is the nearest. Insert 'they' between 'but' and 'also'.

Thanks Rover_KE so much, what about the last choice? Is it totally wrong or awkward?
