What is the correct abbreviation of the word "chart"?

    Hi,
I am doing a translation of a text to English and I have a problem.
What is the correct abbreviation of the word "chart"?

    Example:
    Figure 1.1 - Fig. 1.1
    Chart 1.1. - ?
    Thank you in advance

I don't think there is one.
    I am not a teacher.

I am not familiar with any commonly used abbreviation for "chart" (AmE) and therefore I would use the entire word.

If you do a key and explain that, for example, that "Cht" means "Chart", you could probably get away with it. However, Chicken Sandwich is right I think - I don't know of a recognised abbreviation for it.
