    You probably wanted to 'improve your grammar' and 'correct your (grammar, vocabulary, spelling, etc.) mistakes'?
    (to improve = make something better than before
    to correct = make something right or accurate by changing it)

    You could start with 'I', which is always capital in English.

    This forum is a great place to learn English - here you can find a lot of what course books are generally missing. So, feel free to look around and read the threads you find interesting, this way you'll get a better understanding of how it works.
