Hi! I just want to confirm something about the difference between ELDER and OLDER.
When do we use ELDER and When do we use OLDER?

Thank you in advance!

"Older" is the comparative form of the adjective "old" ("James is older than John".). "Elder" can be used as a noun and most often in its plural form ("We have been taught to respect our elders.") and as an adjective (I'd like you to meet John's elder brother, James".)
