    haha, that is also an example of a comma splice.

    It's too hot today, SO I am going to turn on the AC.

    OR

    It's too hot today; I am going to turn on the AC.

    Uses of "to" and "too" (especially"to") are a little more detailed than to describe here. Suggest you use your favorite search engine for that which I have underlined.

    It was a typo. I use a French keyboard at home and an English one at work.
