Default Is this the correct use of "propagate"?

    I have a sentence...

"New method in cancer operation and how can we propagate it throughout Japan"

Basically, I will do a presentation on advanced operations in treating cancer. During the presentation I want to discuss how to spread this practice throughout Japan, in other hospitals. Is this the correct usage of "propagate"? Or should I work it differently? Is "propagate" the wrong verb to use?

Any reply would be much appreciated. Thank you

I prefer 'promulgate' or 'disseminate', bitz; 'propagate' sounds a bit agricultural.

Would 'cancer surgery' be better than 'cancer operation'?

Your quoted text looks like a title, as it's not a sentence. It should read '...how we can...'
