    Hello...May I know why do some countries have 'The' before the country's name for example, The USA, The Netherlandone more,why when we write there's no "in the night", 'like in the morning', 'in the evening'tq

    This is not so much a language question as one concerning the history of the countries mentioned. A country's name evolves over centuries. For instance, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland became 'The United Kingdom'.

    Please ask your second, unrelated question in a separate thread, with a meaningful title, such as 'In the morning'.

    We generally use the when we use words like Republicin the name. Some of the articles come from history- we always said the Ukraine when it was part of the Soviet Union, but now it is an independent country, some use the and others don't, suggesting that it could be losing the article.
