    Default Click/Go on the internet

    Hi
Is it correct to say "click onto the Internet?" I would say "go on the Internet", but I am not a native speaker, hence the question. Thanks.
This is the sentence in context.
You don't know where Africa is. "What are you going to do? Call your friend? Click onto the Internet?"

"Click onto the internet" sounds very strange to me. I would say "Go onto the Internet" - given your choices.
Really, what I'd say is "Check the Internet", "Check the 'net" or "Check Google".

    Or "Get on the internet".

Maybe "search the internet" in this context. Or "Google it."
