    Default when are rehabilitated

    Hi

What happens when abused animals are rehabilitated?

Does it mean how they behave when they are rehabilitated on a day to day basis or rather how they behave after the rehabilitation process is over?

    Default Re: when are rehabilitated

I read it as referring to the behavior of the animals once they are set free again after the rehabilitation process. Are they still able to survive (if they are wild animals), are they still able to live among people without being aggressive (if they are domestic animals)?

    It's ambiguous.

Abused animals can have a variety of problems, both behavioral and physical. Rehabilitation deals with both kinds. An abused animal may show abnormal fear and submission or may be aggressive. In addition, they may be suffering from malnutrition, internal and/or external parasites, wounds and/or other injuries, etc.
