    Swapping services?

How would you say/describe it when e.g. a masseur and a hairdresser use each other's services but money changes no hands?
I find it somewhat difficult to explain.

You can call it 'payment in kind'.

    "Bartering" would be another alternative.

"It's no good using money; let's pay in kind"
    "barter services"

    Are these correct? Other options?
