Default How can I PM a mod?

    Hello,
I need help with a job application of mine, but don't want to post it in the public section.

So I would like to send my text to any trustful Mod in here (I guess Mods can be trusted, right?) and would kindly ask if he/she could take a look at my job application and might help me with that. I've red the How-To about application writing etc, but a double check by a native speaker wouldn't hurt I guess.

So how do I send PMs?

I really don't want to post my app to be reviewed, as it would be not just embarrassing if the company, where I am planning to write this to, sees that.

    Cheers,

    Cloud

I wouldn't do that. It is rather rude, because you are saying "Hey you! Do this, now." Why would you think the mods' job is to proofread your stuff, for free, at your behest, whenever you wish? The forum is there for you to ask the world, to see if anyone wants to help, and can. Take the proper names out of your letter, and put it up in public.

Good point dude! So yeah, why would I think that?

because you are saying "Hey you! Do this, now."
Don't understand where I am saying that? Stop accusing me?
Your answer sounds kinda hostile... and as I haven't any need for this attitude torwards my simply asked question, please don't reply to any of my posts anymore - that would be very much appreciated!

And yeah, in the meantime I've found the solution for my original question.
