Default Call Žer instead of call her

People, when you say call Žer, does the /l/ become light?

    Thanks

In AmE most often you will hear "Did you caller?", if that's what you mean by light.

It does. This is a fairly general phenomenon in words that end with double /l/.

    E.g.

    full - dark
    fuller - light
    roll - dark
    roller - light
    tall - dark
    taller - light,
    bull fight - dark
    bullish - light

    But there are exceptions:

    fill - light
    filler - light
    tell - light
    teller - light.
