    Default is not forming

    Are these sentences correct:

    1-Frost is not forming on the windshield of this car.

    2-Fungi are not forming on this sample.

    They're grammatically correct. Note that in BrE, we say "windscreen".
    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

    Since fungi are living organisms, I would use "growing" on this sample in #2.
