"This uniform dates back more than 100 years." Does this sentence mean that this uniform was introduced more than 100 years ago or does it mean that the uniform (as a piece of clothing, material) is 100 years old?
Could you please also let me know if sentence N2 is correct, meaning that the car is 100 years old.
1. "This car is 100 years old."
2. "This car dates back 100 years."
