    Default To remember something

    "Remember" basically means "bring out what you memorized in your briain", but sometimes it seems to mean "memorize something =put something into your brain", making confusion. Does the underlined mean the former or latter?

    112)When you read or listen to something for a long time, you can't remember it very well. To remember something, you have to pay attention to the information. But after a time, this becomes hard. And remembering it later is even harder...

    Actually both. If you refer to any monoligual dictionary, you will see both meanings.
