Default Even though or even if

I always make a mess with Even though an Even if. In the following text, what must I use, even though or even if?

When you are studying a language, it is very important to have an active learning. It means you must not only to read and listen to but also to write and talk in this language. Even though most people think that they are similar activities ,the first two are more passive than last ones. It is easy to figure out this difference when you have to organise your ideas to communicate properly something. You must remind the grammar rules, search the appropriate word and pronounce or write it correctly. Isn’t a hard work to do it?

When deciding which to use, forget the 'even'. 'Though' makes good sense in your sentence, 'if' doesn't really. So, it's even though'.
