I wish I had a house in the middle of the forests.

I love wild animals in India and Africa. I am crazy about wild animals. I wish I had a house in the middle of the forests.

    Hello teachers,
It's a self made sentence. I have some doubt on "in the middle of the forests"
I mean I don't know how to say the last part:

1.in the middle of the forests
2.in the middle of the forest
3.at the middle of the forest
4.at the middle of the forests.

Which one sounds correct? If you were me, how would you say it?

    No source/self made
    Thank you.
