1- It affects people like me who/that are used to this pain.
2- It affects people like me who/that is used to this pain.
Could you please tell me which one is the correct usage? In my opinion, both sentences are OK but I am not sure whether the 'that' in the first sentence is proper or not.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
Thanks for the answer. So, 'that' in the fist example (..........that are used to this pain) is OK, it that right?
