Would you hear and comment on my pronounciation?

Any comments would be appreciated. You don't have to take it easy, please be picky.

Also, I'd like to keep posting things like these to try to improve. Is there a specific place to do this?

Re: Would you hear and comment on my pronounciation?

I understood your narrative. The only comments I would have are: 1. Word stress- "......want to know" (stress should be on "know" not "want" and "...childhood was like" (stress should be on "like" not "was". This is a common, minor problem with Spanish and Portuguese native speakers. My suggestion: listen to native speakers and imitate. 2. It is my opinion that accent is not a problem with any native language speaker as long as you can be understood. So, don't worry about accent.
