Talking What should i teach to my student ?

Recently, I got a part-time job as a tutor. She is a junior school freshman, and her english’s grades were very high in elementary school. Her parents hope that I can teach her something different with books. That's definitely what I want to teach. But I don't know what is both interesting and meaningful about English because she is so young. Any suggestions will be well considered and appreciated!

You need to figure out what her areas of need are before you decide to teach her anything. Does she need to improve her reading/ writing skills? Listening/ speaking? What are her goals?

You just can't do Harry Potter with her unless you know what your aims and objectives are.
