Default When was the trip taken?

    When was the trip taken?

    Hi,
Unfortunately I don't have much context for that.
Does it mean (when was the trip done?) and I have forgotten the trip.
    Am I right?

I got a picture of the page of the book. If you click here you will see it.

    Thank you.

The trip is in the past. It is over. The question is asking when the trip happened.

    not a teacher

The question in your link simply asks when the travel occurred.

    When was the trip taken?
    In July, last year.

In conversation you are much more likely to hear: "When did you/they/he/she (etc) take this trip?"
