    of all his books

1-The library has the translations of his books.
2-The library has translations of his books.

Which of the sentence above implies:

a-the library has all the translations
    and which implies :

b-the library has translations of all his books (this would imply that all his books have been translated at least once)

    Gratefully,
    Navi

For me, 1 implies that the library has all the translations that are available.

Number 2 doesn't imply either A or B, but it is possible.

    Re: of all his books

Thank you very much Mike for all your kind replies.

One more question here just to make sure.

1-The library has the translations of his books.

means that the library has all the translations that are avaiblable, therefore it does not exclude the possibility that some of his books have not been translated. Am I correct?

    Gratefully,
    Navi.
