    Mutiple Choice Option [in case he should forget/forgot]

    He put the things in his bag in case he ……… them.

    a)should forget (Answer Key)
    b)forgot
    c)forgets
    d)wouldn’t forget

    Hi,

    In my opinion "b" (forgot) can be correct as well.
    Do you agree with me?

    I showed the test to some other native English speakers and they said as what you did. (thank you)

    But they told me that it doesn't make a very good sense. Does it make a good sense to you?
    I don't know what's wrong with the meaning of the test. I mean I don't know why some of them said that it's not a good test.

    Any thoughts?

    It's not a good test because there is more than one right answer.

    I don't like any of the answers. It would be more logical to say "lest he forget them" or "so he wouldn't forget them".
