    Red face resolve

    Hi,

    I would like to know which definition of "resolve" is adequate to the sentence below:

    "The important aspect to keep in mind is that, for a given sampling interval At, the highest frequency we can hope to resolve is the Nyquist(or folding) frequency, fN, defined as..."

    I don't understand the sentence. Does definition 10 here work for you? resolve - definition of resolve by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

    I don't understand it either, but I think that definition #11 might be closer.
