Sue is at the spotlight room. She aims the light to Liz

In the sentence "Sue is at the spotlight room. She aims the light to Liz" is the grammar correct?

Context: Liz is an actress acting in a play at the theater. Sue is in charge of the lights.

    Thanks!

    That's two sentences.
I would express the content as "Sue is in the spotlight room. She aims the light towards [or "at"] Liz".
I'm not a teacher of English, but I have spoken it for (almost) all of my life....

I'd use lighting booth/box instead of spotlight room- I don't know if it's used in other variants, though a quick search didn't bring up much.
