    Default release vs eject

    Hi!

A Star Destroyer moves through space, releasing Imperial probe robots from its underside.

*This is a description of a scene in a movie. I wonder if releasing can be replaced by ejecting?

That depends on where the robots were and how much force was involved. "Eject" usually involves the forceful movement of something from the inside to the outside.
