I am trying to write the following sentence and need clarification.

I would rather go for a walk because I want to play with my family and get healthy.

    Welcome to the forum.

Re-read both of your example sentences. There is a word missing from the first and a spelling mistake in the second. Use the Edit Post button to make corrections.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

PS: Think about whether you are starting as a healthy person or starting as an unhealthy person.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
