    Best way to speak English

    Hello and happy new year!

Whenever i try to speak in english i get very confused and scared what if i speak wrong and that's the main reason i have not been able to speak fluently. I can write well and my report writing skills are always appreciated at my workplace but i haven't been able to overcome fear of speaking wrong english. I really don't know what to do now it's like i have lost hope that i would ever be able to speak in a crowd. I just want to ask you what's the best way to learn english especially speaking part? Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

There will be plenty of advice for you. However, before we start, please click the "Edit Post" button and correct the capitalisation in your post. Remember the rules of written English:

    - Start every sentence with a capital letter.
    - End every sentence with a single, appropriate punctuation mark (even very short sentences like "Thanks").
    - Always capitalise the word "I".
    - Capitalise all proper nouns (ie English, China, Shakespeare, Microsoft etc).
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
