    Account Question

    Ello everyone!

I'm having problems when I click on my account name. (Where it has the Facebook Connect square and next to it is Welcome, SierraLynn2015, Notifications, My Profile, Settings, Log Out. When I click on my profile name, it tells me that I do not have the privilege or something of the like to view that page. But it's my own page so why can't I view it!?! Any answers will (hopefully) help. :)

    Re: Account Question

Please note that this part of the forum is open to everyone, including learners. As a native speaker, to ensure that learners see good English on the forum, please try to use correct, standard English in all your posts. "Ello" should be "Hello".
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

There are no specific restrictions on your account- it's all normal. There are a few general restrictions- people who have just joined cannot send private messages and posts containing links go into moderation. These disappear after posting a number of messages.

What if I'm British? It is a perfectly legitimate way to say hello in England.

    Re: Account Question

It may be legitimate to say 'ello' in some dialects, and in some groups, but it is completely unacceptable in writing outside those groups.

ps. I am British, as is ems.
