I have two sentences what is the right one?

1)as soon as he realized the danger he was braking
2)as soon as he realized the danger he braked.

why?

Without proper capitalization and punctuation, both are incorrect.

May I say "He braked as soon as he realized the danger"?

why?

Number 1 is not natural. Number 2 works.

"When he realized the danger, he was listening to the radio."

Not a teacher.

"He hit the brakes" would be natural.

Please use proper capitalization and punctuation in your posts.

You have already ignored this once in this thread. If you ignore it in the future, you may find that your posts are ignored.

We certainly don't expect people to be perfect, but we do expect them to try, and using capital letters and punctuation shows you are trying.
