I noticed most online dictionaries only have the phonetic spelling of the based word and not the different forms of it. For example, the based word hold has a phonetic spelling of hōld, however, the present tense holding, does not give its phonetic spelling. Is there a dictionary that provides the phonetic spelling of all the different word forms of a based word?

I tired the Text to Phonetic online app and found it not detailed enough.

Thanks in advance,
Yeta

Welcome to the forums.

Everybody should bookmark the OneLook site, which searches dozens of free online dictionaries (click on the underlined link). One or more is certain to provide the information you require.

As the first syllable of 'holding' sounds the same as 'hold', you can't expect to be given a separate pronunciation for it.

Note: it's 'base word' – not 'based word'.
