    How about:

I completed my work yesterday and I sent an email to the manager.

He reviewed it and suggested some changes in the design of the form.
I have updated the fields as required.

If you are talking about the part where Tdol suggested "I completed", there is no way to use "was" in that sentence.

    I completed my work ...
I have completed my work ...
I had completed my work ...

If you want to change the beginning of the sentence, you could say "My work was completed yesterday".
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
