Question Sentence 'Can you push this along'

Can somebody tell me whether "push this along" is an idiom or some different thing. Also, When I speak english, I don't use "idioms" and "phrases". Can somebody send me list of commonly used idioms and phrases, so that I can bring them to use in my conversation.
    Thank You

Thank you for your quick reply Tdol.

Can you please guide me, how can I improve my idiomatic English.

I can speak english, but I am not comfortable with using Idioms. Infact, I don't know where to use or fit Idioms in my sentences.

Also, Is it important to be aware of sentence structures? When I speak english, sentences are automatically formed. I don't think of sentence structures while speaking.
