Red face Using "Like" and "Thank" buttons on phones

    Off the topic

Ems, I can't see any Thank button with the posts; I am using the forums through its Android app. How can I thank a post?

I moved this question to the Support area because I think others would be interested. I use an iPhone and I just use Safari. Usually I can "like" but I don't use an app.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Re: Using "Like" and "Thank" buttons on phones

One of the admins will have to answer that. I use the site on my laptop or my iPhone. There is no app for the iPhone yet so I'm using the full website on my mobile and, of course, all the buttons show up. I've never seen the Android app so it's possible that it hasn't been updated yet to include the Thank buttons. For now, just hit Like on useful posts. There is still no reason to write a new post to say "Thank you".
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

I also am having trouble. I cannot like or thank, nor can I see the "Unanswered Threads" button. This from the PC app, not from my phone.

Re: Using "Like" and "Thank" buttons on phones

Like and Thank are currently not being displayed at all because of a forum software upgrade- plugins have been switched off temporarily to debug. They will be back shortly.

What has happened to the "unanswered threads" button? Will it also be back soon?

Likes are back. Plugins are mostly back now. I will check on the "unanswered threads".

Thank goodness we who use the site and complain when things go slightly wrong don't have all the work of keeping it going.

Did not mean to be grumpy. Was just asking.

I didn't mean to sound grumpy. Sorry if I did.
