Hi,
I'm not very good in colloquial expressions, and yesterday evening, while I was watching a film in english, I've heard the expression "I don't get it". In that context, I thought it meant "I don't understand". It is possible?

Thanks.

I'd add "not only possible, but very common!"

I don't get it.
Ah! Got it!
It took me a while to get it, but then it all made sense.

Welcome to Using English! :hi:

(Also, Vale, thanks for taking the time to say "thanks" but it would be best to just use the "Thank" button under the helpful post so we don't see a new reply in the thread and think "Oh! There must be a follow-on question.")
