    a blue or red sweater

    Are these sentences correct:

    1-I was wearing my brown or my red sweater. I don't remember which.
    2-I was wearing my brown or red sweater. I don't remember which.

    3-He took a red or a blue sweater. I don't remember which.
    4-He took a red or blue sweater. I don't remember which.

    1 & 3 are clearer, but 2 & 4 are OK- I think they are more likely to be used in speech.
