    Question Pronunciation of 'aisle'

    Hi,

Can anybody tell me the correct pronunciation of 'aisle'? Is character 's' silent in this word?

    Thanks in advance

Yes, you're right, the 's' is silent in 'aisle', so it's [ail], same as with the word 'isle'.
