Hello

What does it mean "to get smack round the chops"?

One guy asked a girl an uncomfortable question and the other guy said to him "you are gonna get smack round the chops".

I've heard it in a British medium.

Thanks

It is never heard in AmE. If it is acceptable slang in BrE, as I suspect it is, it still requires an indefinite article: ""you are gonna get a smack round the chops".

I heard it in the BBC. I finally found out what it means. The chops seem to be the mouth and cheeks.
