    Question Good to hear

    Hi,

I recieved an email from a friend who havent contacted me for several months. She said that he havent heard from me for ages.

Shall I begin my email with Hi'fried', good to hear from you!

I mean it n a sarcastic way but will she understand it as sarcasm or as I am pleased to hear from her after not contacting me for months?

    Thanks

That doesn't sound clear to me:
Nice to hear from you after so long
    That's clearer.
