    Default What's the difference in using 'depends on' and 'depends upon'

    Dear Sir,

    I am a Technical Writer from India. I would like to know the difference between the usage of 'depends on' and 'depends upon' in normal writing.

    There is no difference, although "depends on" is more common, I think.
